[Interview] Denver Cuello Speaks on Possibly Upcoming Fight

Former WBC Silver minimumweight champion, the 29-year-old Denver Cuello one of the most avoided fighter in lower weights and well known for his power. Cuello known as "The Excitement" holds record of 36W(24KO's)-5L-6D and (8-2) outside the country. Cuello's first title shot  for the WBC World minimumweight title was against Chao Zhong Xiaong of China last 2013 in Dubai.  Unfortunately Cuello entered the ring with injured right shoulder turning him into one handed fighter. Cuello suffered his most heartbreaking defeat on that night losing the World title but get the sympathy and heart of boxing fans. Supposedly Denver Cuello will fight for a title eliminator at 105 lbs, division (WBC) against Saul Juarez of Mexico but lose the opportunity due to weight issue, Cuello is current rated no. 8 by the WBC in light flyweight division (108 lbs.)

Q: What is your current weight?

Denver: 125 lbs.

Q: Do you know when you may fight next and against whom?

Denver: It depends on my promoter Aljoe Jaro but I have upcoming fight for this year 2016.

Q: What division will you fight?

Denver: I can still make 105 lbs. or 108 lbs.

Q: Hopefully Jonathan Taconing will beat the reigning WBC champion Ganigan Lopez, are you willing to face Taconing?

Denver: Yes, I will fight anybody even its Jonathan Taconing, even Ganigan Lopez. I will fight anywhere anytime.
