Coming off a successful campaign in the Governors' Cup, the latest champions Barangay Ginebra San Miguel will be on another  quest to try and get another title without their main big man Greg Slaughter who just recently undergone a surgery to repair the tear on his ACL injury that he got in a game during the Governors' Cup.

Ginebra is on a hunt of a big man to deepen their frontline roster in the Filipino Cup.

Kevin Ferrer, from University of Sto. Tomas  has popped out of the internet recently after being said to be picked by Ginebra in the Gilas Cadet pool. Standing 6 foot 4 this cager is a perfect fit to the Ginebra's rotation helping out their big men in defending the paint.

The announcement of the Gilas Cadet distribution will be on Sunday just before the regular draft commence and this big man has been already welcomed by the Ginebra fans in the social media.
Though a confirmation has yet to be made this addition to the current frontline roster of Ginebra will definitely open a big chance for them to match up teams with tall frontliners having Jervy Cruz, Japeth Aguilar, Joe Devance , Aljon Mariano, Chris Ellis , Dave Marcelo and Dennice Villamor  in their line up ready to come to the floor and defend that paint.
