Mindanao Boxing Never Stops: Brawl at the Mall Featuring Romero Duno and Aston Palicite

On June 10, 2017 Sanman Promotion headed by JM Manangquil will once again banner another exciting boxing match in the city of General Santos in the Philippines, the hometown of Manny Pacquiao.

No Martial Law is stopping this event which will be held at the Robinsons Mall.

While our brave soldiers fight against insurgency, our boxers will do the same but they won't need firearms. Led by Romero Duno, the boxer who made a name for himself after knocking out then undefeated Christian Gonzalez  at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles and winning the WBC Youth Intercontinental lightweight title.

At 21, Romero Duno has a  a record of 13 wins with 1 loss coming from his fight in Russia. Duno however is still undefeated in the Philippines and is looking to maintain the streak against countryman Jason Tinampay, 22 years old, with  8 wins, 4 loss and 1 draw.  Tinampay has struggled recently and has lost three of his last five fights. Based on records Duno has an edge but Tinampay has the better incentive especially if he could win convincingly against a rising star like Duno.

Aston Palicite is also seeing action as he take on Iceman,  John Mark Apolinario. Aston is a decent fighter with a record 22 wins and 2 losses, he is on a two fight winning streak, the last one against Oscar Cantu in Las Vegas were he eeked out a split decision win to capture the vacant WBO Inter-Continental super flyweight title and NABF super flyweight title. Meanwhile Apolinario is trying to turn his career around after only wining 2 of his last 10 fights. He has never won outside the Philippines.

Will Lonzo Ball Ever Develop His Offensive Game?

In the Lakers' game against the Miami Heat, there were two plays that caught my attention. One was that outlet pass by LeBron James to an open Lonzo Ball who was open for a layup. No one was even close to defending Lonzo at the point and he chose to softly lay it in which […] MoreThe post Will Lonzo Ball Ever Develop His Offensive Game? appeared first on Powcast Sports.

Details on Kiefer Ravena's PBA Salary Revealed, 350,000 a Month!

It's huge! Kiefer Ravena's salary means a lot is expected from him

If NLEX could offer him more then maybe they would but for now, Keifer Ravena would have to settle for a maximum rookie salary that's worth 8.5 million in three years.
The 2nd overall pick of this year's draft may have waited to get into the PBA but that delay was worth it after the team who drafted him showed big confidence and locked him for three years.
As per our source, his salary on a monthly basis will be at  P150,000 a month for the first year. Then will go to P225,000 and the last year would be at  P350,000. The salary isn't the highest as Terrence Romeo and JunMar Fajardo, two of the biggest names in the PBA is getting more or less half a million every month.

At 24 years old, however, the former Ateneo star is only one of the two players this rookie class who's getting a max deal, one of which is Rookie Christian Standhardinger.
